Join KWMR for a live recording of Jennifer Jewell's “Cultivating Place,” Sunday, April 12th at The Dance Palace.
Jennifer Jewell’s popular podcast "Cultivating Place," explores ‘natural history and the human impulse to garden.” KWMR Community Radio is proud to air it Saturday mornings from 8-9 AM on the West Marin airwaves, and we are very excited to announce that we’ll be hosting Jennifer Jewell in person for a live taping of her show!
Please join KWMR for “Cultivating Place LIVE,” an interactive, garden-focused event benefitting KWMR, at The Dance Palace Community Center in Point Reyes Station, on Sunday, April 12th.
Doors open at 2 PM for mingling and a seed swap with West Marin Climate Action. Bring your extra seeds and starts down, to mix & match with fellow gardeners and cultivators…while enjoying snacks and local tea!
Then at 3 PM, when we’ll be doing a live taping of Jennifer Jewell’s conversation with Rebecca Newburn - seed conservationist, and co-founder of the Richmond Seed Lending Library. Stick around after the talk for more mingling with fellow nature-enthusiasts.
Tickets are on sale HERE.
This event is sliding scale, $10-$50, and all proceeds provide "seed funding" to fertilize KWMR’s upcoming Spring Pledge Drive, happening April 18th through May 1st. Please choose the ticket price that feels right for you, or buy yours at the door!
