PROJECT VOX: Very Live in West Marin!

Event Description: 

PROJECT VOX, an 8-person professional vocal improvisation ensemble, will be performing Sunday, Dec. 8th, at the San Geronimo Community Presbyterian Church, 7:00 p.m.  This entertaining group of singers collaboratively creates innovative, compelling pieces on the spot, weaving a rich tapestry of blended genres and styles. Mostly a cappella, and mostly improvised, you never quite know what will happen, though sure to be in the mix will be lip-defying vocal percussion, bass, synth, horns, guitar, sung stories, intriguing spoken word, fun characters, and other profound, silly, musical and meaningful moments.  Come join the frivolity!

Sunday, December 8th, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. San Geronimo Community Presbyterian Church. 6001 Sir Francis Drake Blvd.  Comfortable seating and aple parking.  There will be two 40-minute sets w/an intermission in between.

More about PROJECT VOX:  "Vox" is latin for Voice.  Our enlivened team is Michael Smolens, Renée Benmeleh, Pollyanna Bush, Stephen Iverson, Reina Lam, Molly Ann Graceland, Nate Dewart, and Sam Rogers. These members have performed/recorded with Bobby McFerrin, Rhiannon, Meredith Monk, Claudia Schmidt, David Worm, Raz Kennedy, Stefon Harris, Paul McCandless, David Balakrishnan (Turtle Island String Quartet), Paul Hanson, and Zakir Hussain.
