2025 RockSteadyFest Brings
Alcohol-Free Poetry & Music to Olema

Day long event planned for Saturday, September 20, 1-8 p.m.

For the first time since the pandemic, Northern California’s RockSteadyFest – a day of music, poetry and
art, food and fellowship by sober artists for sober audiences – is returning to the North Bay, with an
afternoon and evening celebration on the lawn at Sacred Heart Church in Olema.

“It’s a beautiful spot for an intimate concert,” said founder and organizer Jeffrey Trotter. “Before the
pandemic, we’d done a few of these, and we were building a good head of steam, but then everything
stopped. We tried it on Zoom, but it just wasn’t the same. I’m so happy to be bringing this back to the
North Bay, It’s going to be a wonderful day of fellowship, food and performance, with some of the best
sober artists in the area.”

The day will begin with a youth concert featuring the Marin County band F.A.T. Betty, performing their
signature blend of infectiously positive funk and jazz-fueled rock from 1:30-3 p.m. The music will
continue at 3:30 p.m. with a stellar lineup of artists including rock ‘n roll bagpiper The Dame of Drones
(AKA Chelsea the Piper, of San Rafael), singer-songwriters Tyler Allen (in Santa Rosa), Chris Holbrook (of
San Rafae), Jesse DeNatale (in Sebastopol), Sara Rodenburg (Fairfax), Nicolette Gottuso (in Santa Rosa),
Nicole Frazer (of San Anselmo) and Tom Finch (Fairfax), plus poets Danielle Vantress Salk (Fairfax ) and
Kristy Greenwood (Fairfax). Closing out the festival is an epic sober dance party from 6:30-8 p.m.,
featuring oldies tunes and classics from the Summer of Love.
