Why Fire Smart Landscaping is Important NOW

Saturday, March 14, 2020 - 2:30pm to 5:00pm
Event Description:

The Inverness Garden Club, Inverness Foundation, UC Cooperative Extension Master Gardener program, FireSafe Marin, Marin County Fire and the Dance Palace are hosting a FREE PROGRAM to help residents understand Fire Safe Landscaping, understand what the defensible space zones around our homes mean (see your Living With Fire booklet, received in the mail in late summer), and how we can still have lovely gardens and be proactive.

We will also have a refresher on Hardening Your Home, provided by FireSafeMarin.  Understand the key components of retrofitting your home, decks and vents and gutters to Harden Your Home.

The time is NOW to get your projects off the back burner and onto the front....

For info or to help with the event or particpate in hosting, email president@invernessassociation.org
