Workshop - Gluten-Free Sourdough

Event Description: 

In this class, students will learn some hard-won lessons about sourdough fermentation and gluten-free baking. Participants will go home with their very own sourdough starter, and the knowledge they'll need to keep it thriving for years to come.

We will explore:
• Gluten-Free Sourdough - How to approach the problem
• What is sourdough? Get our hands wet mixing sourdough starter
• What is Gluten? An overview of gluten-free ingredients
• Gluten-Free Baking Tips + Tricks
• Baking at home - oven hacks, dough prep, recipe testing
• Caring for your sourdough - how to keep it happy after class
