Day of the Dead Mexican Dinner Fund Raiser

Event Description: 

You are invited to the 1st annual Day of the Dead Mexican Dinner Fund Raiser on Saturday, October 7th, 6 to 9 pm. $40 tickets are all inclusive, drinks and a delicious Mexican Dinner prepared by local chefs. Dinner will be served in the Dance Palace Church space. This intimate evening will include entertainment and surprises. Please bring a picture or memento to place on the altar. Limited number of tickets will be sold for this special fundraiser.

The two poets will discuss art, craft, and their newest books, A Little Book on Form and Why Poetry, respectively, which delve into the big questions of the poetic imagination: where does poetry come from? How does a poem affect a reader? What should we look for when reading and writing poetry? Proceeds from this benefit event support the West Marin Review and Tomales Bay Library Association. $30.
