We are a spirited, independent bookstore in a coastal town about an hour's drive��_and a world away��_from San Francisco. We cater to the literary passions of townsfolk and visitors; provide a lively forum for authors, poets, scholars, and storytellers; and host conferences, workshops, and performances that support local literacy, the arts, and the environment. We see ourselves as more than a business. We seek to contribute to the well being of the community we call home.
